It’s sad that this seems to be the case in modern society.
Black people, even though they are the victims, are seen to be the perpetrater and the reason for police brutality. Because all black people are in the wrong apparently…
Take Sandra Bland for example, she evidently did nothing wrong yet the policeman told her that he would, and I quote “I will light you up!” And after that, she was accused of committing suicide. And even if that was the case – which I don’t believe to be true – she would never have died if that frustratingly egotistical neanderthal of a policeman didn’t pull her over and start hurling abuse at her.
Black people are not the problem – well not all of us are at least – but we will be part of the solution to end police brutality or at least try to end it.

I’ve been reading a lot of Benjamin Zephaniah recently and it’s really made me more aware of the undercover racism that exists in this world. I promise you reading his book “Too Black, Too Strong.” will never be a waste of time no matter what race you are. Well unless you are a racist. But anyway, it’s a great educational inspirational read.
