On Thursday at the bloggers party, I had the opportunity to interview a lovely lady called Svetlana Marshall. Svetlana is the owner and designer for Pautinka London. Click here to see a video featuring her 19 year old son on guitar:
Svetlana Marshall grew up in Belarus where she began designing jewellery and clothes during her teenage years. She later moved to Qatar where she met a model called Carol Browne who inspired her to create a line of chain jewellery; it became her first collection.
The word ‘Pautinka’ is the Russian word that means “like a spider’s web”, like a spider’s web, Svetlana’s designers have such detailed and exquisite intricacy that could make any woman look and feel beautiful and powerful. Similarly to me, Svetlana loves dance, she loves it so much that she teaches others how to dance, therefore she understands how clothing and jewellery move with the body when it moves. With this understanding and the ethos that the infinity chain protects and motivates women to become the best version of themselves, she launched out to create this beautiful and empowering collection.

This is what The Infinity Chain by Svetlana Marshall looks like and may I say it looks even better in person. Each piece allows the wearer to express themselves as creatively and uniquely as possible. ’ Pautinka London ’ has won the prestigious British Jewellers Association’s annual design competition and has recently exhibited at International Jewellery London ( IJL ) and at London Fashion Week (Fashions Finest). Svetlana now creates luxury designs in gold & silver as well as fashion jewellery.
Svetlana is the real deal and not only that she’s one of the most down to earth people I have met for quite a while. I wish her all of the success in the future and I hope you all come to see her coleection tnight at the Ashmoleon in the 9pm Oxford Fashion Week shows.
