Not only is she beautiful, (That goes without saying) Oprah Winfrey is a powerful and successful woman. Being an American media proprietor, talk show host, actress, producer and philanthropist, she is worth 3 billion dollars – according to forbes – and so much more. She is a brilliant role model for girls everywhere. Oprah is proof that #BlackIsBeautiful

The six model are Ajak Deng, Amilna Estevao, Anais Mali, Aya Jones, Binx Walton and Tami Williams—appear in a variety of fashion spreads. While we do not need validation from mainstream white magazines. This a breakthrough considering that fashion world has a number restrictions when it comes to runaway or spread features such as this one. So congrats to the ladies.

BLACK WOMEN ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

#Repost @deante_law
・・・@Instagram has removed most of the hashtags of #SandraBland , we must ask why?!?! Could it be because she appeared dead already in her mugshot? Could it be that the cop lied while telling his superior what happened during the traffic stop? Could it be that there is no footage of her being processed? Or could it be that she has fought with depression in the past and wasn’t put on suicide watch in the cell? An activist and a strong black woman from Chicago who was unlawfully arrested over a traffic signal stop in Texas where she was returning to her alma mater, Prairie View A&M University, for a job interview and found dead in a jail cell 3 days later. | This will always be sickening, diabolical and wrong. We have lost a beautiful women and that is truly devastating. #SayHerName and remember her beauty inside and out! #SandraBland #Justice #GodLovesYou #Victoryforu #WomenswearWednesday #VictoriousEveryday

“It feels good to be a role model for little girls who don’t often see
natural hair on the red carpet. I’ve wanted to be an actress my whole
life and the none of the women I aspired to be like had natural hair.
Today we have Esperanza and Solange who always look fierce and are proud
to wear their natural hair. Maybe it’s not a statement for them, but
for me, they showed me that I don’t have to equate fierce and gorgeous
with long, straight hair. I hope there’s a little girl out there who may
see me and say the same thing.
