We as the next generation need to bring about a change. There are so many people suffering that need to be helped. Just wish I could go out there and help every single one of them. We need to be unified and pull together with the tragedies of the world and help our fellow brothers. #VictoryforuInspiration #RealTalk Victorious Everyday.

This has been shared from Phaedra Parks on Facebook:

Fifty years ago, political activists Huey P. Newton & Bobby Seale founded the Black Panther Party to address police brutality in Oakland, California. As the organization grew, they adopted a womanistic ideology for the consideration of African American women. By 1970 up to 70% of the organization were women. Members such as law professor Kathleen Cleaver and political activist Angela Davis showed people that Black women can be educated and fight for equality alongside their male counterparts. During Sunday’s SuperBowl @beyonce paid homage to these brave women who sacrificed so that people of color could be seen and treated equally. Thank you Beyoncé for being courageous enough to recognize and celebrate the 50th anniversary of this historical movement.

I’ve just watched @bet Celebration of Gospel. So many amazing performers. Miss Taraji did a fabulous job, it was a blessing seeing you present again and testify about your Empire success. @iamericacampbell’s performance of ‘I Lurr God’ was brilliant and vibrant and was so cool to have @yazzthegreatest surprise the audience with his killer rhymes in a fresh monochromatic suit. And then – probably my favourite moment – Kirk Franklin performed his ‘Wanna be happy’ and ‘123 Victory’ medley which was phenomenal but to end with taking off jackets and revealing this beautifully empowering message “Black Lives Still Matter” made my heart tingle with joy. If you haven’t seen it, well firstly you’re missing out and secondly go and watch it to have a good time with glorious Gospel music. #VictoryforuInspiration Victorious Everyday.
