I really enjoy seeing Black History represented on children’s tv especially Disney Channel. It’s comforting to young black boys and girls that they are valid in this society and they are game changers. I believe that black history shouldn’t be solely restricted to a month, it should be celebrated all year round in schools and in society in the same way that normalised text book history is. They only cry about racial division when its something positive or uplifting about Black people.
