A bit of inspiration and a page out of the book we call life.
In this society we live in, there are certain pressures for teenagers to acquire relationships (romantic and/or sexual) as it is the ‘done’ thing to do. However, having a relationship in your teenage years (in my opinion) is majorly cute but not a necessity. Especially not the sexual relationships! You have so much of your life to get a girlfriend/boyfriend but you having limited time in the first set of education we receive – primary, secondary, sixth form and college. I don’t understand way you wouldn’t want to wait. But that’s just my opinion. Within the media, there is a stigma which i passionately hate – one night stands. After watching a tv show called Life On Marbs, certainly not a show I’d ever watch again, there was a lot of talk about one night stands. The main rich guy – whose name I never bothered to learn as he infuriated me – said something along the lines of “I love it when tourist girls come to visit so then I can nail them and never have to see them again.” That obviously not word for word but it was something to that effect. Things like this make it more socially acceptable for teenagers to copy the adults who do this. This, inevitably, reduces the raw beauty and passion that relationships and sex in wedlock had. It lessens the importance of it.

That’s my rant for the day. It’s been brewing in me for a while. #WomenswearWednesday #VictoryforuFashion
