I know this isn’t still in the media as it is considered to be less news worthy but out there are still 276 school girls who have been waiting for help 542 days, 22 hours, 44 minutes and 36 seconds to be rescued. They still deserve to be spoken about. They should still have a voice. Bring Back Our Girls Now.

Hello all. I hope you have all had a brilliant day. I came across this picture on social media. This is so true! On Monday I watch a documentary on BBC 3 about the KKK. Let’s just say I wasn’t exactly comfortable watching but I wanted to see what my ancestors went through. Something that really struck a chord with me is racial inequality on both sides. The KKK were screaming “White Power!” And the Black Panthers were screaming “Black Power!” And then violence broke out. You get the picture. What I don’t understand is why nobody was there peacefully protesting for racial equality. Nobody is born with racism in their hearts. I do not believe that. It is taught, but in the same way you can teach someone to hate, you can definitely teach them how to Love. That’s my thought for today, hope that has made you think a bit. Late night inspiration.
Last post of the night.
Roy Robinson really inspired me today. And this phrase really hit a nerve.
For a good majority of my life, I’ve been a reject. Whether it is to do with race, gender, personality, I was a reject. At the time, I thought it was the worst thing possible, but actually that made me into the person I am today. I have a story to tell, words to express through dance and a sense of style carved by how isolated I felt. The outfits you see me produce are a product of my self expression not my self expression itself. I am not just the clothes I wear, I am Me.
