Oxford Fashion Studio: Paris Collection Round-up

Oxford Fashion Studio’s runway shows have come to an end but the season was absolutely sensational with fabulous designers like Annie Chou, Prodigal Daughter and Nissreen Ghazy.

Let’s take a look back to some of the amazing designs that were presented in New York, London and most recently and more so in this blog post, Paris!

One of the first exclusive from the Paris Collections was an interesting and striking collection by Selma Cilek called Casual Diva.

This was exclusively shown earlier than any other show at 2:45pm and definitely turned heads with the attention to detail.

Kicking off the first show was Madame Mode!

The fabulous flared trend is definitely coming back this season so look out for it a lot more.

The emphasised collar is also very striking and appealing.

Such a fabulous dress from Nissreen Ghazy. Eygptian designer Ghazy creates amazing bridal pieces that any bride would feel like a princess in.

Oxford Fashion Studio truly took Paris by storm and completely stole the show.

How to wear: Camouflage Trend

Contrary to the name, the camouflage trend is more about standing out than blending in. I enjoy playing around with militant tones and street style to create something aesthetically pleasing.

The base of this look is a khaki PU spliced T-shirt of side zips from Boohoo Man. It was quite a versatile piece that is better to wear in the winter as the PU panel can keep you quite warm.

The khaki Utility sleeveless shirt from Forever 21 Men creates the perfect layer. I simply did the top button up and added my diamanté collar clips from Topman. This small detail adds a different dimension to this outfit.

The key to getting a creative camouflage look is making sure the colours are similar but not the same. This adds some multi-tonality. The camouflage print cargo joggers from Forever 21 Men contrast well with my grey high tops from M&M direct.

Accessorising an outfit is extremely important!

My black ring and chain bracelet pick up on the darker tones of the outfit. The silver rim of my sunglasses picks up the grey of the shoes. And the orange of the snap back adds a touch of neon.

This is a simple outfit to recreate and I hope when you recreate it, you’ll add your own unique features to it.

Brilliant inspiration from @traps6_
These kind of people are like leeches or vampires. They will drain you of you inspiration, excitement and gratefulness. It’s really tragic because these people usually have the potential to do something great but they choose not to out of pure laziness and they prefer to bring other people down with them. You really do need to cut ties with these people especially if you are trying to become successful; you don’t need these unambitious people sponging off your success and – ultimately – draining you of it. #inspiration #Fashionblogger #Victoryforu #VictoriousEveryday
