I have been using Quick Fix Facials for about 2-3 months and I have to say I am very impressed. I have very problematic skin (As I have discussed on Victoryforu) so to find something that worked for my skin was extremely helpful.
These three are my personal favourites and are the ones that are almost finished – deffo need to reorder soon. I also love the Overnight Miracle Mask which smells divine!
Calming Clay Mask – I used this on my problematic areas around my mouth and nose which are the most sensitive.
Collagen Lift Mask – Perfect to use a night before a big event, this is actually what I used to get ready for the Oxford Fashion Studio shows in London.
Mega Moisture Mask – I used this over the problematic areas as well which helped to replenish the moisture lost after a long day.
As I have mentioned before, my skin is one of my biggest insecurities. To find something natural, cruelty-free and affordable that actually helps my skin to look better is so good. I highly recommend purchasing Quick Fix Facials especially if you’re a teen on a budget like me.
I also recommend multi-masking, especially if you have combination skin like me. My current situation is Exfoliating Scrub on my nose and forehead, Collagen Lift on my cheeks, Anti-blemish Mud under my eyes and Mega Moisture everywhere else.
Is my skin perfect? Not by any means. But I have noticed a glow that wasn’t on my skin before. My biggest recommendation for using the Facials is finding an exfoliating sponge to open your pores before use and to wash it off after use. It really helped to produce a better result for me.
There isn’t a product in this range that I wouldn’t recommend. There is truly something for everyone! Make sure you check Quick Fix Facials out now. Free UK delivery when you spend over £10 and each Facial is £4.99… I don’t think I need to persuade you anymore 😂😂😂
As it is only 10 days until London Fashion Week Mens, I thought I would recap what happened last season!
I enjoy the way that menswear is changing and is getting brighter and more innovative. I am all for this change. I hope to see more of that in the next 10 days and throughout the whole of this Menswear season from June – July.
Oxford Fashion Studio’s runway shows have come to an end but the season was absolutely sensational with fabulous designers like Annie Chou, Prodigal Daughter and Nissreen Ghazy.
Let’s take a look back to some of the amazing designs that were presented in New York, London and most recently and more so in this blog post, Paris!
On behalf on the Oxford Fashion Studio team, we would like to say THANK YOU to all who attended our shows! See you for SS18! pic.twitter.com/gcExBKZY50
London Fashion Week was an absolutely amazing event with the glitter of Ashish, the contrast of Versus Versace and the artistry of Julien Macdonald.
I am going to show you my favourites from the week and I hope you enjoy it.
In one of the biggest celebrations of fashion and style, disability and diversity were celebrated in the Teatum Jones show which kicked London Fashion Week off.
The Dynamic Duo, Catherine Teatum and Rob Jones.
Two disabled Models were cast in this show which became big news as things like this are a rarity to show disabled people in a positive light. Models Jack Eyers (Who was the first ever disabled Male to walk in New York Fashion Week) and Kelly Knox commanded the runway in spite of the disabilities they have. This made national and international news in The Telegraph, Huffington Post and The Guardian.

This collection from Teatum Jones used a dark palette of blacks, greys and navies which were highlighted by deep and fruity reds and mechanical silvers. This palette put into oversized knitwear and Jackets, mid-length dressed and masculine tailoring made for an extremely wearable collection that could easily be worn on the high street without too many peculiar looks.

The seed of the idea came last year after meeting people in the para-athletics community, said designer Cat Teatum. “Able and disabled bodied people don’t have different desires when it comes to fashion. They want great textiles, interesting shapes. Kelly and Jack are dressed in the collection like the other models. We’ve just had conversations with them about how to adapt their clothing. The overriding message is that we’re all the same.”
– Quote Taken from The Telegraph
Romantic Fantasy is a recurring theme which the next Designer, Ryan Lo. Hong Kong-born, Lo keeps his designs completely authentic to his background and this collection was no exception.
Ryan Lo is one of us! He too learns things through Youtube Tutorials and in fact this is how he learned how to knit. He is definitely a force to be reckoned with!

In complete contrast to Teatum Jones, the palette is light, airy and dreamy. With the accentuated colourful pigtails, his designs look they have come right of a romantic graphic novel drawn in an anime/manga style.
One of my favourite designs ever is up next – Julien Macdonald!
With a palette of Red, Black, White and Silver, Macdonald creates yet another sensational collection that you can tell belongs to him due to the sheer artistry of each garment.
So many of these garments scream red carpet, celebrity and award show. This outfit above worn by Grace Bol would look perfect as a performance outfit for JLo, Beyoncé or Shakira.

One to Watch according to the British Fashion Council: Halpern!
Michael Halpern was born and bred in New York but has lived between London, Paris and America for the last 5 years. He has worked for Oscar De La Renta and J Mendel and then decided to embark on his own fashion journey.
It is safe to say that Halpern’s collection has a lot of drama and each piece is breathtaking.
Vibrant colours and prints mixed with sequins makes for an intricate style that may not work for everyone but is definitely there for those who want to stand out from the crowd.
And here’s part of the fabulous Collection that has sport luxe vibes running throughout the whole collection.

And Finally Ashish! There are so many other brands that I loved from this Season but I tried my best to whittle it down to my absolute favourites.

Ashish was Glitter personified. The Mexican-wrestler inspired makeup was an interesting choice and I appreciated the inspirational quotes on some of the garments. I didn’t love everything, as you may expect, simply because there was an overload of glitter and no contrast of texture which I was slightly disappointed with. However, as individual pieces, I think this is really cool.
I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Last night was the biggest night in British Music, or at least that’s what we’re always lead to believe.
Most year’s watching the Brits, I leave feeling underwhelmed at the winners but this year, I feel that a few better artists won awards such as Emili Sandé, Beyoncé and Rag’n’Bone Man.
The best performances of the evening (In my opinion) were Bruno Mars (Vocally the best performance – Sexual references), Ed Sheeran and Stormzy (Ngl, I dropped my phone when Stormzy came out) and Emili Sandé.
No one else’s performance even came close to theirs. Yes, the Chris Martin Tribute to George Michael was emotional and moving, and Yes, The Coldplay and Chainsmokers collaboration was a surprise but not as surprising as Stormzy and Ed Sheeran – considering I dropped my phone, it is still alive though, thanks for your concern!
My main stipulation with Little Mix’s outfits is this, Perrie and Leanne’s Conical bra bodices are not flattering at all. If these were replaced then I think the outfits would have been better.
And also why did Perrie change when they won their award?
I hope you enjoyed the brits and if you didn’t there is always something good to laugh at like the house falling off stage during Katy Perry’s performance. Missed it? Well, here you go, I’ve got you covered!
Starting with Sabina Saga, (Below) her SS17 Dynasty collection was absolutely show-stopping.
In an Instagram post, Sabina Saga wrote about her latest collection:
“I am so happy to announce the official release of my new collection inspired by my Ethnic Roots, made in honor of the country where I was born-Kazakhstan. This is a great honor, but also a huge responsibility to represent my Homeland at international contests. Thanks everyone for the love and support! ❤️”
Sabina Saga’s talent, passion and sheer creativity makes her designs even more captivating. Her use of 3D printing is highly commendable and I look forward to seeing more of her work in the future.
So many amazing looks at last night’s Dolce show. I am in awe of the amazing artistry, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are true fashion legends and I commend them on choosing to work with the influencers who are shaping our digital generation. I will be showing you my favourite male looks below and telling you why this was such an innovative show.
The afterparty was also amazing as you can see by the visuals above!
Personally, Jim Chapman’s look was my favourite. Why? It is so bright and so floral yet still so masculine. The co-ords could be worn separately or together. And the simple black jacket added the needed calm note to the look. By far my favourite! From his Victorious days and playing King Tut, Avan Jogia has always had an air of regality. I love the kingly features of the jacket and the exquisite prints.Once a young boy who’s father was part of one of Hip-Hop’s super-group Run-DMC, now, he is an actor and music artist who is taking the world by storm. The floral details of his outfit were absolutely flawless.Chinese star XueDong Chen – I love this military style jacket and I hope one day to wear this. The man of the moment -Cameron Dallas – opened the show and wore the crown to end the show proving that he really is the digital king. His deep purple suit is both eccentric and simplistic perfect for a man who wants to be seen but not stared at.The Mexican social genius. I am never usually a lover of the colour brown, however, this just works! This golden brown tone looks perfect against Juan Pablo’s skin tone. The owner of SMF-Blog – Elias El-Indari – has taken the middle east by storm with his Men’s fashion and lifestyle blog. Elias looked crazy sophisticated and this is definitely a look I’d wear in a heartbeat.Gogoboi – or Ye Si – is best known for his presence on China’s biggest social media Weibo. He is one of the most influential fashion bloggers in China. Gogoboi’s street-style vibes along with his fluffy leopard print hoodie is a complete show stopper.Tinie Tempah knows what ‘Girls Like’ and they will definitely love this look. As well as being a british rap superstar, he recently embarked on his fashion journey at London Fashion Week Men’s were he showed his collection, What We Wear. And last but never least, Lucky Blue Smith. The young veteran of the modelling industry completely dominated the runway in this monochrome suit that accentuated his signature hair.
Now there are so many other looks by Josh Cuthbert, YiLu Sheng, Marcus Butler, Neels Visser, Presley Gerber and many more that I loved but these are the ones I have chosen to show.
I hope you enjoyed watching it live and if you missed it, head to the top of the page to watch the video.
P.S. I hope that there has been a vast range showing all cultures and races show in the Dolce and Gabbana show. I was reminded about the importance of representation when I saw a post by Edward Zo a few days ago.
Reading this shook me as I admire Steve Harvey. I researched it and it turned about to be true. What he said should not be tolerated. We need more education and representation for everyone to not judge someone based on their skin colour or how they look.
I want to dedicate this post to everyone who has ever been made to feel small or insignificant because of your gender, race or culture. I want to tell you that you are beautiful, God loves you and that you deserve to have a voice. God bless!
So London Fashion Week Men’s is over – I know I a few days behind, I didn’t realise how much Jet Lag would affect me. Obviously, I did not enjoy every last piece shown at LFWM, however, I enjoyed the way that menswear is changing and is getting brighter and more innovative.
I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Next up is Milano Moda Uomo FW 17/18 (Milan Fashion Week Men’s) starts today on 13th January through till Tuesday 17th January showcasing more of the best in men’s fashion.
