Last day of work experience has been amazing.
I did my last creative writing lesson with them and at the end two of the students said that they were going to try and write a fantasy book together which made smile as they said they’d give me a copy once it’s done. We also watched Shrek and had a doughnut party. Today’s intergalactic outfit.
Penultimate day of work experience. It’s ridiculously bittersweet. I’ve loved this week so much, teaching Year 4’s Dance, Creative Writing and some Drama has been absolutely amazing. My class is amazing so today I got them sweets and a horrible science book about dinosaurs which made me laugh way too much 😂, (Basically, it was this picture about this dinosaur being killed, it’s skin had melted away and it’s only response was a miniscule “ow”) Today I’ve done a creative writing session about SciFi and the future – hence the galaxy tie – with a drama task at the end. They seemed to really enjoy it. I was also on the winning team for the tug of war and I got quite drenched in the Year 6 vs Teachers water fight.
