I know in that in the list Men’s fashion was next but I decided to Shake it up a little bit.
I personally cannot show you makeup tutorials because that is not my sector of expertise. However, there are a lot of people who I watch on Youtube who do fabulous make-up tutorials who’s Youtube channels I will share with you.
Valentine’s day is the romantic day of the year so, therefore, it is another excuse just to get glammed up.
This tip is to show you how to have brilliant style at a steal of a price. I hope that this not only helps you look beautiful on the outside but feel beautiful on the inside.
Look 1 – The Classic that never gets old, The Little Black Dress
There seem to be an endless possibility of ways to wear LBD’s, with different textures, colour accents and materials. The key to wearing something simple (Well, anything really) and rocking it is confidence. The more time you spend investing in making yourself more confident, the more radiant and beautiful you will feel and will become.
Boutique Lola Sequin Star Print Maxi Dress – £35 from Boohoo. Whether you are headed to see Lala Land or headed to a restaurant, this show-stopping maxi will be sure to leave your date starry eyed. Pair this with some simple black heels and a black leather or pea coat.Tamsin Off The Shoulder Skater Dress. Just £15 from Boohoo. This is a perfect dress for showing off your amazing legs and beautiful neck and comes in an array of colours. Add a bit of colour to the look with a dark red velvet choker and matching red shoes.Hollie Sequin Short Sleeve Bodycon Dress. £35 from Boohoo. Whether you’re hitting the town with your new man or your besties, you’ll be sure to dazzle in this little number. Add a faux fur jacket on top and black strappy heels to complete the look.
Look 2 – Who wears the trousers?
If you don’t find dresses flattering for you, never fear, the alternatives are here. You can often create really conservative or quite edgy looks with trousers, jeans and jumpsuits. The best fashion recommendation I can make is to make it your business to find the balance between style and comfort. It is all well and good looking bomb on your date or to go out with your girlies but if it gets time to get turnt on the dancefloor, it is pointless having an outfit that you cannot move in. Be wise with your fashion choices.
Hatty High Rise Heavy Sequin Boyfriend Jeans. Only £20 from Boohoo. I know that sequins and sparkles may not be everyone’s cup of tea but for those of you who love to show your sparkle, this is definitely the look for you. Aim to make the Jeans the star attraction of the look with a black choker t-shirt and silver heels. To be bang on trend, wear fish net tights or black leggings underneath to create a double layer look.Lua Metallic Pleated Wide Leg Trousers. Only £18 from Boohoo. Put this with a simple black sleeveless crop top and a long gold chain. Stay warm with black biker jacket and black heels.
Lois Lace Trim Skinny Leg Jumpsuit in Khaki. £20 from Boohoo. Wear this with the Boutique Maya Sequin Bomber Jacket with Varsity rib for £25. The combination of these pieces along with a nude pair of shoes creates a militant look showing that you’re willing to fight for this love. The lace detailing and sequins add more femininity whilst the khaki and green tones show power and grace. Be ready to walk like a champion in this outfit.
Boutique Maya Sequin Bomber with Varisty rib. £25 from Boohoo
Look 3 – Keep it casual
Not all dates or nights out are traditional so always have a more causal alternative ready. Just because an outfit is more casual and comfortable does not mean it’s time to skimp on style. The secret to keeping it casual is accessorise, accessorise, ACCESSORISE!
Louise Pleated Chiffon Flippy short. £12 from Boohoo. Take a simple white vest and black short combo to the next level. Whether you’re having a picnic date on a hill top or horse riding for the first time, you can wear a white cami top with these black pleated shorts, black sequin Bomber Jacket and Black Fedora. This will keep you looking cute and it is a practical outfit which allows for a lot of movement.
Hana Sequin Bomber Jacket. £18 from Boohoo
Lola Ribbon Band Fedora. £10 from Boohoo
The Next look is loosely based on Roxxsaurus’ recently look on Instagram for her latest video which will be released tonight.
Ushi Cold Shoulder Shirt dress. £18 from Boohoo. The idea behind this look is two looks in one. Sometimes, with a whole day of romance planned or a whole day of fun with friends, you can’t find time to change into a more formal outfit. My solution is to wear your dress as a jacket during the day. The day look : Black Wrap front high neck crop top with blue denim shorts and sturdy above the knee boots. Then the night look: Fully button up the shirt dress and place the Corset lace up belt around your waist and add some jewellery to complete the look.
Lily Corset Lace Up Belt. £12 from Boohoo
Jessie Wrap Front High neck Crop top. Only £10 from Boohoo.
Savannah All Over Sequin Relaxed Jogger. Reduced to £16 from Boohoo. Now this look is for a super chilled evening of watching Netflix and eating Pizza Hut. To this add a relax t-shirt or hoodie (preferably your boyfriend’s) and a pair of black or white converse. Simple and easy but still so glamourous!

Starting with Sabina Saga, (Below) her SS17 Dynasty collection was absolutely show-stopping.
In an Instagram post, Sabina Saga wrote about her latest collection:
“I am so happy to announce the official release of my new collection inspired by my Ethnic Roots, made in honor of the country where I was born-Kazakhstan. This is a great honor, but also a huge responsibility to represent my Homeland at international contests. Thanks everyone for the love and support! ❤️”
Sabina Saga’s talent, passion and sheer creativity makes her designs even more captivating. Her use of 3D printing is highly commendable and I look forward to seeing more of her work in the future.
This season of Men’s fashion weeks have almost come to an end – with New York to come from 30th January- 2nd February – so I wanted to have a look back at the best moments of Mens Fashion from this season.
Topman Design
With 90’s inspired pieces, Topman Design brought us a brilliant way to dress for the upcoming summer festivals with neon rain macs and athleisure.
Dolce and Gabbana
The fashion show of the future. Alongside Dolce and Gabbana’s Millenials campaign, In Milan they had the same Millenials walk in the show. The outfits they wore were fabulous!
Balmain
I am in love with the jeans! How much are they?
Love an all white look!
Monochromatic brilliance
Balmain is one of those shows that I always – without fail – anticipate. Olivier Rousteing always out does himself every season and this season is no exception.
There have been so many amazing moments that would take forever to write about them all. So I decided to put them all in a Pinterest board for you to look at and admire them as much as I do.
So many amazing looks at last night’s Dolce show. I am in awe of the amazing artistry, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are true fashion legends and I commend them on choosing to work with the influencers who are shaping our digital generation. I will be showing you my favourite male looks below and telling you why this was such an innovative show.
The afterparty was also amazing as you can see by the visuals above!
Personally, Jim Chapman’s look was my favourite. Why? It is so bright and so floral yet still so masculine. The co-ords could be worn separately or together. And the simple black jacket added the needed calm note to the look. By far my favourite! From his Victorious days and playing King Tut, Avan Jogia has always had an air of regality. I love the kingly features of the jacket and the exquisite prints.Once a young boy who’s father was part of one of Hip-Hop’s super-group Run-DMC, now, he is an actor and music artist who is taking the world by storm. The floral details of his outfit were absolutely flawless.Chinese star XueDong Chen – I love this military style jacket and I hope one day to wear this. The man of the moment -Cameron Dallas – opened the show and wore the crown to end the show proving that he really is the digital king. His deep purple suit is both eccentric and simplistic perfect for a man who wants to be seen but not stared at.The Mexican social genius. I am never usually a lover of the colour brown, however, this just works! This golden brown tone looks perfect against Juan Pablo’s skin tone. The owner of SMF-Blog – Elias El-Indari – has taken the middle east by storm with his Men’s fashion and lifestyle blog. Elias looked crazy sophisticated and this is definitely a look I’d wear in a heartbeat.Gogoboi – or Ye Si – is best known for his presence on China’s biggest social media Weibo. He is one of the most influential fashion bloggers in China. Gogoboi’s street-style vibes along with his fluffy leopard print hoodie is a complete show stopper.Tinie Tempah knows what ‘Girls Like’ and they will definitely love this look. As well as being a british rap superstar, he recently embarked on his fashion journey at London Fashion Week Men’s were he showed his collection, What We Wear. And last but never least, Lucky Blue Smith. The young veteran of the modelling industry completely dominated the runway in this monochrome suit that accentuated his signature hair.
Now there are so many other looks by Josh Cuthbert, YiLu Sheng, Marcus Butler, Neels Visser, Presley Gerber and many more that I loved but these are the ones I have chosen to show.
I hope you enjoyed watching it live and if you missed it, head to the top of the page to watch the video.
P.S. I hope that there has been a vast range showing all cultures and races show in the Dolce and Gabbana show. I was reminded about the importance of representation when I saw a post by Edward Zo a few days ago.
Reading this shook me as I admire Steve Harvey. I researched it and it turned about to be true. What he said should not be tolerated. We need more education and representation for everyone to not judge someone based on their skin colour or how they look.
I want to dedicate this post to everyone who has ever been made to feel small or insignificant because of your gender, race or culture. I want to tell you that you are beautiful, God loves you and that you deserve to have a voice. God bless!
Prince Cameron Dallas opened the show. The best part about the experience was the fact that each person was asked what they wanted to wear, not just instructed on what to wear.
Internet Superstar Cameron Dallas, Menswear Vlogger extraordinaire, Jim Chapman and YouTube funny man, Marcus Butler will all be walking in tomorrow’s Dolce and Gabbana show.
This is a HUGE deal!
This fantastic trio will be walking alongside some of the Male Supermodels who are ruling the scene. If you haven’t at least heard of their names, you definitely will do by tomorrow!
This is by far my favourite picture of Cameron. The blue light along with the sensational suit is a perfect combination. Also, Congratulations to Cameron Dallas for Chasing Cameron!
So London Fashion Week Men’s is over – I know I a few days behind, I didn’t realise how much Jet Lag would affect me. Obviously, I did not enjoy every last piece shown at LFWM, however, I enjoyed the way that menswear is changing and is getting brighter and more innovative.
I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Next up is Milano Moda Uomo FW 17/18 (Milan Fashion Week Men’s) starts today on 13th January through till Tuesday 17th January showcasing more of the best in men’s fashion.
